We started the day again at school at 8am in the morning. The bus (and the friendly driver) took us to Leroy (Belsvika) where we got a great introduction to the Salmon growing facility. After getting to know how everything inside the large building works (keeping all salmons healthy with a complicated filtration system), we had the chance to have a closer look at the biological department. All students were allowed to dissect a salmon. What a great experience!
After having learned a lot at Leroy, the bus took us to a little fisher´s boat that brought us to Magerøya, a little island with the greatest fish soup ever 😉
After lunch, we could explore the island with walking to the very top of the mountain with a great view of some of the Salmon farms from Leroy.
