Today has been a productive day at school again. First, all host students joined the German students for two lessons together in their regular classes. Then all German students prepared their Maschsee Rallye for the 3 teams from England, Norway and Finland.
Everyone had a lot of fun playing the challenging little (sporty) games half around the Maschsee. And we learned a lot about the media, press and advertising: the NDR (“Norddeutscher Rundfunk”) joined us for a series of interviews and almost every student has been asked questions about our project, the German week in general and about our Maschsee Rallye! What a great experience to be “on air” 🙂
Soon the NDR will publish the interviews and the documentation about our project, fair play and healthy lifestyle. We will upload the audio file here as soon as it has been published 🙂
The afternoon was host family time and all students got to know Hannover even better. Some went downtown, visited the Rathaus or the “Superfly” trampoline arena… The teachers met for a nice dinner together at “Meyer´s Hof”, a cosy restaurant at the Hannover Zoo where we talked about the project, the day tomorrow in Hamburg and how the German week has been so far 🙂
